Lo Stivale社が製造する天然のシボが特徴のイタリアンレザー。
植物タンニンなめしで染料仕上げ。
オイルバケッタ製法によりオイルがしっかり入った革なので、
使い込むほどに味わい深い色に変化し、
自然なツヤが出てくる経年変化を楽しんでいただけます。

※シミの原因になりますので、
できるだけ水に濡らさないようにお願いします。

※天然革を使用していますので、革本来のしわや傷、シミなどがございます。

Japanese omamori are objects that allow people to keep the protection
of the gods close to them.
They are good luck charms filled with people's wishes and prayers,
and they also serve the purpose of supporting the heart and helping
to maintain emotional stability during difficult situations or times of anxiety.
The daruma, which is used as a motif, has likewise long been regarded
as a good luck charm for the fulfillment of desires.

We made a cute Daruma charm keychain out of Italian leather with a firm,
shrink-finished texture.

<Material>
Italian leather manufactured by Lo Stivale, characterized by its natural grain.
Vegetable-tanned and dye-finished.
Thanks to the oil-buttertanned method, the leather is well-oiled,
so it changes to a rich color the more you use it,
and you can enjoy the natural sheen that develops with age.

※It can cause stains, so please try to avoid getting it wet as much as possible.
※Since natural leather is used, there are wrinkles, scratches,
and stains inherent to the leather. Each piece is handmade.

＜補足＞
〇「天然の革」と「人工の革」の違いについてですが、
「天然の革」とは動物の革のことを指し、食用などで使用された後、残った皮をなめして加工し、素材としての革となります。
ゆえに天然の革は生来の傷や模様・シミ・シワなど表情がそれぞれあるので、一つとして全く同じものはありません。
魅力はエイジング（経年変化）で、お手入れで自分好みのツヤ感へ育てる楽しみがあり、長い間ご愛用頂けます。

「人工の革」は合成皮革といって、天然の革に似せて布地に合成樹脂を塗って固めるなどして作られた革になります。
お手入れは必要がありませんし、雨や水に強く、
安価に手に入りやすいですが、使い続けていくとひび割れをおこしやすくなります。


〇「なめし」とは、動物の皮から毛を除去したり、腐敗や乾燥を防ぐため、樹液や薬品を使って柔らかくする技術のことです。

「なめし」で主流なのが、「植物タンニンなめし」と「クロムなめし」になります。

「植物タンニンなめし」は長い年月をかけて、植物にあるタンニンを使い、動物性たんぱく質と結合させる方法のことで、古くは古代エジプトより行われてきました。
あまりにも手間がかかる加工法のため、日本では数社しか残っていません。
水に弱いので雨の日は使えませんが、環境や人に優しく、経年変化を楽しめることが魅力で、お手入れをすることで自分で革製品を育てていく喜びがあります。

「クロムなめし」とは、同じく天然の皮を使いますが、塩基性硫酸クロムと呼ばれる化学薬品でなめす方法で、100年ほど前にドイツで開発されました。
時間も手間もかからず、柔らかく頑丈なつくりの素材となるため、車や家具、服、靴など多方面で使用されています。
お手入れの必要もなく、水に強いですが、貴金属系薬剤のため、アレルギー体質の方には不向きです。
またタンニンなめしのように経年変化はあまり楽しめません。


〇オイルバケッタ製法とは非常に時間と労力がかかる伝統的な製法です。
牛脂などが革の奥深くまで浸透しており、色艶の経年変化が大きいのが特徴です。
